Its that time of year fam.
PUMPKIN ALL THE THINGS! ALL OF THEM!
AND I AM HERE 👏 FOR 👏 IT!!!
Let me tell you why, because I love some comfort. I love the warm smells, and crunchy leaves, and snuggly belly hiding sweaters, and thick clunky boots, and so much food. So much food.
I love the time of year when suddenly everyone seems to be on the same page. No one is worried about being thinner or flatter or shinier. No one is comparing themselves anymore. It seems like everyone is focused on absorbing all of the love and joy and memories they can find like there is a time limit on happy, and if they don't take it in now they will miss out on their share for the year. But the thing is...there is no time limit. There is no allotment. These things are always there. Always available. It seems though, that we put these designations on when it's acceptable to partake.
Enjoy this time. Double fist your PSL, share your favorite ciders, write down that recipe. And remember, that there is no end date on happiness. This feeling can last. You have to shrug off the precepts and let the warmth in.
